Who We Are
കടപ്ലാമറ്റം സെന്റ് മേരീസ് ഫൊറോനാ പള്ളി കേരളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും പുരാതനമായ സീറോ-മലബാർ കത്തോലിക്കാ ഇടവകകളിലൊന്നാണ്. ക്രി.വ. 1009-ൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായ ഈ ദൈവാലയം, വിശുദ്ധ തോമാശ്ലീഹായുടെ വിശ്വാസ പാരമ്പര്യം പിന്തുടരുന്ന ഒരു ചരിത്രപ്രസിദ്ധമായ ആത്മീയ കേന്ദ്രമാണ്. പാലാ രൂപതയുടെ കീഴിലുള്ള പ്രധാന ഫൊറോനാ കേന്ദ്രമായ ഈ ഇടവക, നിരവധി അനുബന്ധ ഇടവകകളുടെ ആത്മീയവും ഭരണപരവുമായ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നൽകുന്നു.
വിശുദ്ധ കന്യകാമറിയത്തിന് സമർപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ദൈവാലയം, വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെയും പാരമ്പര്യത്തിന്റെയും സേവനത്തിന്റെയും പ്രതീകമായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. സജീവമായ വാർഡ് യൂണിറ്റുകൾ, ചരിത്രപ്രസിദ്ധമായ തിരുനാളുകൾ, സമ്പന്നമായ സുറിയാനി ക്രൈസ്തവ പാരമ്പര്യം എന്നിവയാണ് ഈ ഇടവകയുടെ പ്രത്യേകതകൾ.
